Hiking
Hike along the base of the Nature Park of the Texel mountains with its unique wonders of nature. Round about Partschins there is a multitude of walking and hiking trails that invite you to enjoy undiluted nature. Huts on mountain pastures are waiting for you with tasty Brettlmarende (snack), Buschenschänke (a cross between a countryside pub and a cafe) will spoil you as you walk along the Waalwege (paths along water irrigation canals) with their home-made cakes.
We also accompany guests on hikes.
Cycling
If you would like to discover our beautiful neighbourhood on bike, there are plenty of opportunities to do so.
You can cycle with your children along the well-constructed cycle path in the Vinschgau valley, or take your mountain bike up a steep mountain. Everywhere there are wonders of nature waiting for you.
In Rabland and Naturns you can hire bikes.
Nordic Walking
Nordic walking is the ideal sport for strengthening your back and firming up your stomach and leg muscles. Partschins offers Nordic walking enthusiasts two new Texel parcours. One is up on the trail with panoramic views; the other through the village and then out over the leisurely meadow and woodland paths. You will also have the chance to learn the special sequence of movements on a trial course.
Have a lot of fun climbing in our small Klettergarten (climbing wall).
The 'Burgstollknott' in Partschins is a small Klettergarten with 25 routes where experts and beginners, as well as those who climb on their own, can practise. When climbing the wall you have a magnificent view down into the valley as far as Meran.
Watch out! Do not take fright if a lizard is stretched out very close to you basking in the sun.
Undiluted fun on white water!
Rafting and canoeing – adventure is calling! In our immediate vicinity you can have all the fun you want in white water activities. Guided canoe tours through the breath-taking scenery of the river Passer, paddle through gorges past our magnificent countryside. That is the active way to get to appreciate the beauty of our countryside!
Golf
Golf is no longer an expensive pastime, but a popular sport for everyone. You can play golf nearby on courses of very different character. You can play golf stylishly in Lana or Passeier letting your ball glide over water barriers in an accomplished manner. Playing golf under South Tyrol's sun is always fun.
Swimming
Enjoy a few hours in our local outdoor swimming pool. As a guest of our hotel you do not pay to use it. Or grab hold of your swimming togs and go on a day's outing. Drive down into Überetsch (Upper Adige) to the large or small Montiggler See (lake) or to the well-known and very popular Kalterer See.
Your whole family will enjoy the cool water on a hot summer's day!
